Disclaimer ~ Waiver ~ Release of Liability




You should be in good physical condition and be able to participate in exercise.  Consult a physician before performing any of the programs or plans found on this website.  It is your responsibility to evaluate your own medical and physical condition, and to independently determine whether to perform, use or adapt any of the information or content found on this website.


You should understand that when participating in any exercise there is the possibility of physical injury.  If you engage in any of the free or paid for exercise or nutrition plans found on this website, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge “Reality Fitness” and its owner/employees from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of “Reality Fitness’s” unawareness.


You recognize that any of the exercise programs may involve strenuous physical activity including, but not limited to, muscle strength & endurance training, agility drills, intense cardiovascular activities, and flexibility training, either indoor and/or outdoor, involving the use of various fitness equipment including but not limited to, home gym, dumbbells, bench, medicine ball, body bar, bosu ball, resistance bands, ball, step, treadmill etc. 


By continuing to peruse the website; by participating in any of the free activities, tips etc.; or by purchasing any exercise or nutrition plans, programs, videos, challenges etc.; your acknowledgment is hereby made that you are participating at your own risk.  This includes, without limitation (a) your use of all amenities and equipment in the facility and any off site locations and your participation in any activity, class, program, or one on one instruction, (b) the sudden and unforeseen malfunctioning of any equipment, (c) “Instructor’s” training, instruction, supervision, or dietary recommendations. 


You further acknowledge that there are risks involved in participating in this program.  The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, your physical condition, equipment, actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, and lack of hydration. You fully understand that you may injure yourself as a result of participating. You agree that you are voluntarily participating in these activities and use of these facilities and premises and assume all risks of injury.  These injuries may include, but are not limited to, heart attacks, strokes, muscle strains/pulls/tears, broken bones, injuries to joints or any other injury that you may incur, including death. 


You expressly agree to release and discharge the instructor (and her facility, premises) from any and all claims or causes of action.  This waiver and release of liability includes, without limitation, all injuries to you which may occur, regardless of negligence.    Fitness activities and programs, nutrition and exercise, require that you be in good health and have no condition that could endanger your well-being through participation.


You understand that any advice/opinions that the instructor may give you on nutrition (if exceeding the Canada Food Guide Recommendations), is strictly her opinion, as is any advice given that may exceed the scope of her resistance/nutrition training. 


By continuing to peruse this website you acknowledge that you have carefully read this waiver and release and fully understand it is a release of liability.  You agree to voluntarily give up any right that you may otherwise have to bring a legal action against the “instructor” for negligence, or any other personal injury or property damage or loss action.
